CPA Stephen Mugo Kiambuthi is a seasoned accountant with over 10 years of practical experience in diverse fields. He is a holder of Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) from Kenyatta University. He is also a certified public accountant, registered as a full member by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
CPA Mugo’s experience extends to diverse fields including hospitality, banking, not for profit organizations and cooperative sectors. As a member of the professional team, he contributes immensely in delivering valuable services in the finance and tax department. His roles involves providing strategic financial advice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and performing detailed financial analysis to drive business growth and profitability, both for the firm and the clients. He is also known for his ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, resulting in enhanced financial performance for his clients.
Through the clients’ feedback, he has proven to be a very knowledgeable and dependable professional, not only in the firm, but in the entire accounting fraternity. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated leadership and governance skills including consultancy for multinational NGOs.
CPA Mugo is not only passionate about accounting and finance. He has been involved in touching lives through various volunteering programs. In his life in college, he was the Student Association Chairperson for a period of 2 years .In his tenure as the student leader, he created high level impact that is felt at the institution to date. He is also the cofounder of “A Smile Community”, a community based organization-CBO that aims to restore dignity and happiness to the vulnerable persons, especially children in the orphanages.
